Starting the new year with my head in the clouds

I took a much needed social media break during the last bit of 2025. I missed seeing what all my creative friends were up to, but I'm not gonna lie, the break from daily posting and mindless scrolling was wonderful. I spent more time reading, journaling, and watching my birds. I'm coming back at a much slower pace, and no pressure to post if I'm not feeling it.

Over on Substack, I'm following along with @Jo Blaker, and her January theme is skies. I LOVE painting skies!! So I decided to share some of my favorites from my sketchbooks and paintings along with new ones that I'll be creating. Starting off the new year with my head in the clouds sounds like a great idea to me. ☁️🌥️🌤️
