This is my favorite way to paint - freely, intuitively, embracing imperfection, feeling the pure bliss of my brush in the paint, and following along as the paintings lead the way. Rather than trying to represent flowers as they actually are, my goal is to capture the essence of them and the joy that they inspire. My happy little home studio is located in the Missouri Ozarks on beautiful Table Rock Lake. Between this and our RV travels, I am surrounded by amazing sources of inspiration. I love spending time in nature, soaking it all up.
I am easily attracted to the next bright shiny thing, so my painting subjects will vary, but florals and abstract landscapes are definitely favorites. I hope they bring you as much joy as painting them brings to me!
