Painting Big!

And small, and everything in between!

I’ve done a few larger pieces in this collection and it's so fun to paint big! It’s a bit of a logistical challenge in my small studio, but definitely worth it! It’s a whole different painting experience.

Creativity is a funny thing, isn't it? Sometimes inspiration comes, and it won’t be denied. That's how it’s been with these landscapes. A bit of an obsession. It has been quite a while since I've been so excited about painting and so engrossed in a subject. I don’t know how long it will last, but I’m riding the wave while it does.

There is one more big 30×40 in progress, and it will be the final piece for this collection. I’m planning to share them all on November 12. That was my dad's birthday, so it feels like a good day to send this work from my heart out into the world.
